A letter from the future: Raising environmental concerns

Years from now, the environmental crisis will be multifold if we continue to live and spend the natural exhaustible resources; similarly, like we carry on in the present times. Subsequently, the way of living will be particularly hampered and how; a letter from the future would aid us to decode:
“The amount of disruption caused to the environment is irrevocable. Had we switched to sustainability on time, we would have a clean environment to live in. The water bodies are filled with garbage and the majority of it is in the form of plastics. We wished to live in a clean and green environment but deforestation shattered our dreams to get access to green living.
Global warming turned into a global warning and we have no clue about the climate now. One single day witnesses all of the major seasons: rains followed by a hot summer day which paves a way to breezy evenings. Untimely rain smashes most of the agricultural activities. We are so close to facing severe calamities. Urban cities face water shortage let alone the remote and urban places as the maximum amount of water available on the planet is now turned into polluted water; thanks to our lifestyle!
Since we have consumed almost every bit of our non-renewable resources; we have started adapting to a self-sustainable lifestyle where we are in the hope of the environment protecting us. Using solar panels, rainwater harvesting, minimum non-replenishable energy, and awareness in consumption - are a little but hope to us.”
