Urban

Cowboy

The Urban Cowboy is bringing a contemporary style to the countryside with its recent project, Thick wood farm. The home, which features a plethora of sustainable design elements, showcases simple living at its finest by meshing luxury and minimalism. Features ranging from design for natural ventilation to solar heating and rainwater collection tanks meld seamlessly into the gorgeous modern farmhouse.

Sustainable architecture is much more than just “eco-friendly materials” and a few measures to save water and energy. Its design should also be holistic, looking at the building’s entire lifecycle and how it will impact its surrounding community.

“Sustainable lifestyle is the need of today’s world”, with this remarkable idea in the mind, Ankit Yadav founded a company named “The Urban Cowboy”.

The idea of starting “The Urban Cowboy” came back in 2017, when Ankit Yadav was residing in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S. He is a Software Engineer by profession and was involved in his job at Omaha.

While working as a Software Engineer, he used to see the cowboys working restfully in their farms with a sense of cherished in their work. Regardless of how much money they make, what they wear, and what they eat, Ankit embraced the balance that the cowboys were having in their lifestyle. The zeal to know more about their way of life, Ankit traveled to various countries, learned more about their customs and traditions.

“The Urban Cowboy was my dream project. I realized that sustainability is the only way to empower today’s generation while keeping the resources available for our successors. Hence, creating and promoting a sustainable lifestyle among people is the basis of my project”, Ankit said while starting this project.
